Happy Belated St. Patty's Day!

St. Patrick's Day was pretty tame for us this year but we still got into the spirit. E was pooped after a long day partying with Grandma!

Happy Birthday Reese and Audrey!

A couple of weeks ago Everett attended his first party. It was to celebrate cousins Reese and Audrey's birthdays. Reese turned 4 and Audrey 2. He sure loves these two little ladies and it is so sweet to see how much they love him already.

Audrey loves her new fancy dress-up shoes

Future Godmother Meghan is a fantastic cook!

Diaper Butt

You may notice E's got a serious case of "diaper-butt" lately. That's because we've been giving cloth diapering a try. We've been using BumGenius 4.0 off and on for a couple weeks now. They add a little more junk to the trunk but so far, I give them a thumbs up.

2 months

Everett went to the doc yesterday for his 2 month check up and shots. He is now 13lbs 2oz and 21.75 inches long. I figured I should start including something in his photo shoots every month as a point of reference for how much he is growing, so we'll use a baseball.

7 weeks

I can't believe Everett is 7 weeks old. It's exciting see him growing and changing but I'm missing him being tiny already. Last week we went to see the lactation consultant and E was up to 10 pounds 11 oz!

We bought a new camera a couple of weeks ago and boy I sure wish we would have had it earlier! We really missed out on getting good photos of him after he was born. We're making up for it now, though. I think Adam and E have a photo shoot everyday!

We've been having fun learning Everett's likes and dislikes.

Likes:
milk

spending time with cousins

 snuggling

the moby wrap

Dislikes:

inferior diapers

bath time

So far Adam and I are loving being parents but I do have one major dislike of my own:

Hank

This is Hank, my breast pump. We spend about 4-5 hours together per day. If it wasn't for him we would be able to actually stay in touch with friends and family, leave the house for more than 1-2 hours at a time and sleep. We'll be continuing to work on this whole breast feeding thing and hopefully Hank can start collecting dust in the near future.
